On 4/10 of this year my son was informed by Rogers auto group that although he had 0 credit he was approved for a auto loan and was informed it would be 28000 dollars. Hearing this I decided to accompany him to the dealer.
With in moments of arriving there, I realized this was a mistake, however my son was adamant about fixing his credit and I sat saying nothing 2 hours later we were told that their internet people had made a mistake, and because of them his approval was denied. Side note he had claimed to making less money on his application and actually made more, so we sat longer while they re-applied his application.
Almost 3 hours into this nonsense we were finally shown 3 cars out of 50 that were in his price range. Frustrated by all of this we then waited, another 2 hours my son picked a car I gave them an offer and here is where unfortunately I lost it 6 and half hours later as we signed papers, I realized not only did those mysterious internet people worked in the same building. Also I was told in confident by the finance officer that this was all a ploy to draw those people who don't have credit, don't pay on time and aren't very smart into Rogers.
I admit I let my son buy the car and yes I sat for 6 and half hours of bs. Hopefully you'll be smarter then I was.
