In January '07 I ordered a part for an 84 Toyota pickup. I recieved a valve cover gasket set for a Crystler car. Way Off!
I called to arrange ups pick-up since it was their error. They refused to have it picked up or to send me a prepaid shipping label. After 5 phone calls and a couple of e-mails one guy agreed to refund to me any cost of returning the item to them, but that the refund would take 4 to 6 weeks. It only took them 4 to 6 seconds to TAKE IT OUT of my account!
Seeing no other chioce, I shipped it. They recieved on January 24th.
Today, after calling every other day since the sixth week passed I was assured by an operator that my refund would be sent to customer service with high priority and I should see a refund in 24 hours.
Funny thing, the last five or six operators guaranteed me that same 24 hour resolution! Still no refund 65 days after I returned the item that I never ordered.
Each time I call and ask for a manager or supervisor, they are just out of the room or gone home for the day—at 1 P.M.
I am writing this report in the hope that it saves at least one consumer from being ripped off by these people.
