A friend of mine had a accident while his friend was driving His car. This friend rented a car and thats where the trouble started. He paid EXTRA money for the car rental protection so He wouldn't have to put out any money should he have an accident. Nationwide decided that 22 days of car repair were too much to pay so they only paid for 15 days saying it was "customary charges and HE decided to take it to "another" garage of "HIS" choice. They ripped Him off THEN threatened to cancel his insurance if HE did not get the "OTHER" drivers license number and insurance info which THEY should have gotten from THEIR investigation! When challanged I heard the girl on the phone telling My friends father "get another insurance company if You don't like the "NEW" bill. They not only didn't pay the full car rental, they threatened to cancel his insurance and ALSO upped His bill suddenly to over $4000 per year I was told. The "Other" driver had been hiding so "HIS" insurance (which also happens to be nationwide) wouldn't have to pay. I would love to recommend this Man sue His friend AND the insurance company that ripped Him off of His car rental then socked it to Him on premiums.
