My husband and i bought a 2006 chevy disel truck from this dealership in my husband originaly wanted the 8.1 liter engine but the salesman found us this truck instead, they did not have what we wanted in stock and were hesitant on ordering what we wanted.
They wanted to sell us a vehicle that was already on the lot, so my husband test drove it said it was nice and agreed to think about buying it, well they took us in and figured up the price and payments also to get approved and sent us on our way until the next day to which we had an appointment to meet.
When we showed up, they had the truck ready and waiting and papers all ready to sign, we had agreed on a payment the day before and the payment they put on paper was $100 over the amount agreed asuming that we wanted to extented warrenty, the paper work was not fully explained to us nor were they accomidating we felt rushed to sign and get out.
They changed into the nicest people after all was said and done and we walked away with a $42.000.00 truck would of been fine if we had been happy with it, within 24 hours of the papers being done we requested that they take the truck back, we were unhappy with it due to strange noises it was making.
They refused in the state of indiana it is not agianst the law for them to refuse to take the vehicle back and all contracts were final (something we also wernt notified of), they assured us if for any reason we wanted to bring it back we could and they would do everything in there power to make sure thier customers were happy. (This was said before and while buying the vehicle.)
Now that its been less than 24 hours we are saying we are NOT happy and even offered to let them keep the $3000.00 down payment they would'nt do a thing they only cared about not causing a scene if front of other customers, they did offer to fix the truck (we were not happy we were not paying for another mistake) instead we were civil, and just wanted them to take it back we even agreed to buy another truck from them we just didnt want that one, they told us no and instead caused a scene in front of our kids and threating to call police if we did not leave.
This is how these people treat there unhappy customers and we are still having trouble with this truck it has new noises now and its not even a year old, whatever you do follow your gut when it comes to buying a car. If they are to nice and talk to much go somewhere else, this is one dealership that will never see my buisness or anyone i know. And the guy that sold us the truck (our salesman) being that we were dealing with the manager wouldnt even look at us! What a joke.
