Last week my Nissan quest made grinding noice when pushing on the brakes, 9 month pregnant with 3 kids and a husband in Iraq i took the van to Midas in killeen to perform a brake check, after 2 hours waiting the mechanic called me and told me that it was bad... He gave me a list of the fallowing
Rear brake pads and rotors both sides back air filter water pump drive belt 3 part Fuel Iduction System Service Engine flush all in all the bill to get it fixed should be $950,00
The mechanic also told me if i keep on driving the caliper will brake and $400 could also ad to the bill!
I did had a funny feeling about it so i drove home and talked to my Husband... Who told me to call out local Nissan dealer and get the van checked from them.
So i did. Got a appointment right away they checked the van completly out and my rotors was fine my Pads was bad the belt was bad but that was it. I said did you realy check everything and they told me yes so 4 hours later my van was repaired payd $300...
I m still wonderring why People would do such a thing... And why to a pregnant women with a Husband in Iraq... It is sad to be riped off like that... But thanks to Nissan i saved $700 if not more...
