Lonnie Villarreal of Lonnie's Alice Used Cars in Alice Texas TX is unfair to employees garnishes wages and does not pay what he says he is going to pay. He shorts employees of their hours, verbally harasses them and accuses them of doing things that they did not do.
DO NOT APPLY FOR EMPLOYMENT WITH HIM! He is always looking for a Porter but uses them to do things at his house and does not have accident insurance. If you fall off his roof you are on your own.
He is very rude to customers also. He does not work with the customers as he says he does or will. After making a down payment for a vehicle he will require an immediate weekly, bi-weekly or monthly payment and WILL reposess your vehicle even though you have made prior arrangements with him.
He will charge for the repo fee and sometimes will add more unnecessary fees. DO NOT TRUST he wants your money and will resell your car after you have purchased it. He waits for you to be late on at least 1 payment and takes your car. Will not return phone calls or answer phone after 5pm even though he closes at 6pm.
Does not open in time and hides in back when somebody asks for him. He does not like to talk to anyone. He screens his phone calls with a caller ID and does not answer phone if you are late on a payment. This is his way of saying he could not get in contact with you.
NOT A/C CERTIFIED, yet improperly adds freon to cars and sometimes overcharges A/C systems to make it look like the A/C works.installs tracking devices to certain customers' vehicles without telling them. Uses remote disabling devices on vehicles also. All this is done without your knowledge.
He will ask you to bring your car in for a check-up or if you take it to him for maintenance he will install this device without your knowledge. Nobody suspects this. Only a handful of people are told in advance that these devices will be installed.
He does not keep records confidential or locked-up. Copies of drivers licenses, social security cards and employment records can be found in trash cans and are not shredded. He does not own a shredder. Your info is there for everyone to see.
Lonnie Villarreal or his wife Cindy Villarreal will discuss information about individuals with other customers. Private matters will be made public to others. If you have applied for employment or credit with him just back out because your info will be in PUBLIC TRASH CANS.
