I have a 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood. I was in a car wreck and I trusted that Maaco was going to be able to put my car back to the way that it was originally. Or so they garenteed it.
Well after having my car in there shop for two months. When it was first given back to us, the paint was not the color it should have been. There were many flaws in the paint, the quater panel was not put on the right way and the Chasey was not pulled back out, after it was told to us that it would be. The car had to be put back in after we had it for 2 days so that the paint job can be completed the write way and the moldings put on, but yet the chasey was never pulled back out as promised. Jim, the manager for Maaco's had the car another 3 weeks on top of what he had already had it. Our rear light was broken by the workers at Maaco's and then told to us that a new one had been put on. Another lie, once we received the car back, we thought it was done the right way, or at least it looked that way. We were wrong again. The rear brake lights were installed back on by Maaco, incorrectly causing the bulbs to actually melt the plastic of the lights and the break lights would not come on. The rear reverse light was never new. Maaco's simply took our old light and glued it back on, so one day as I'm pulling into my drive way, the glue gave out and the light fell off. The rims were put back on my car, and that is how we came to find out that the chasey was never pulled out correctly and it is a very tight squeez. Now today, on a Sunday afternoon. My husbend is out there washing the Cadillac, sprays water and what happens to fall off. The molding and the skirt of the car. What else can go wrong with this car. I plea to any lawyer out there... Do we have a case or not.
I have never been so disappointed with Maaco as I do now. They have reuined a great car and have left me very bitter. I ask anyone... Is there something I can do???
