I was working with a sales associate named John. I do not have his last name but he is a retired police officer, tall, gray haired man. I explained and reiterated that in order for me to justify buying a car the payment must be less than what I was currently paying.
When financing came around the 6% interest rate put me over my current payment and I walked away. John began berating me, calling me a liar, accusing me of wasting his time, and keeping my keys from me while he continued to yell at me in the middle of the sales floor. At one point he said that he had cancelled a dinner date because I was buying the car from him.
I guess I was obligated to strap myself financially because I caused him to miss a dinner date. I have never been treated so rudely in my life! After I finally got my keys from this lunatic I called a friend back who had called during this whole process and told her about it. Turns out she had a run in with the same guy a few months earlier.
She test drove a car and when John had called her later in the week she had decided not to buy. John began to accuse her of wasting his time and got very rude with her. I have had a bad taste in my mouth for Bommarito since this happened because he did this to me in the middle of the sales floor and was not reprimanded.
I wouldn't say don't go to Bommarito, just don't talk to this sales associate and beware. He obviously can't handle the rejection of a sales environment and shouldn't be working here.
