When I went to look at a car at Hesser Toyota they would'nt tell me how much my financing would be and how much my monthly payment would be.
At the end of the night the sales manager had me sign a piece of paper he told me was "preliminary", that it was not the actuall contract. And on that piece of paper it had only 3 items on it; the trade in amount, the price for the new car and the total.
The next day I took the new car back. I didn't feel comfortable with it. When I told the sales person I don't want to go through with the purchase, he told me I had already signed the purchase contract, and when he showed me the paper, it had more items filled in and boxes checked. They went behind my back and filled out more items after I had already signed it!
They told me I had only 2 options; either buy the new car, or pay a 5% charge of the total, which came to $668. The finance manager lied to my face when I confronted him. He said they had already told me the finance charge and monthly payments. They never did! They lied again! And now he was getting a rude attitude with me. They also put on the purchase contract that that car had 10 miles on it. When I drove it off the lot it had about 68 miles on it, more lies.
I finally had to pay the $668 to get my old car back, which they said it was their car now and not mine, even though I still had the title and had never signed it over. They wouldn't give me my keys back, so I had to pay the rediculous 5%.
Bottom line, Don't go there. They will go behind your back and try to screw you!
