I drove for schneider national and had an accident while making a u turn, they then tryed to charge me with the damage to the truck from a street sign i hit while making the uturn. Schneider gave me the wrong directions that is why i made the uturn it is there fault. I am a good truck driver and i am a smart man but trucking is hard i didnt think so because truckers are fat almost all the time. My mom said it would be a good thing for me so i tried it. After arguing with them i wanted hometime because i had been out for 5 straight days which is longer than most truckers how do they expect me to be away from home for that long? They wouldnt give me hometime so i say i quit if i dont get hometime and they said fine drop the truck off at they terminal so i did now they are trying to bill me for driving school and the truck damage and they hit my DAC with abandonment but i didnt abandon. They will not get away with this, i am a smart man and a good driver i will beat them becaus they are wrong and i am right. I need some advice from another trucker what to do though.
