Ripoff Dishonest Fraudulent Businesss Practices

My wife and I have had a terrible experience trying to purchase two vehicles from Lou Fusz Kia. After spending more than six hours at their dealership the night we bought the vehicles, we got home at midnight only to find that one of the cars did not have ABS, one of the things we had told them was most important. I called the dealership first thing the next morning and had not received a call back after several hours. We went round and round with Tom Dempsey trying to get a final figure for the car with the correct options on it. We were scheduled to pick both cars up on Friday, June 30 at 5:30pm. When I was finally able to reach Tom at 4:45pm, the number he gave me was $2500 higher than we had agreed to. At that point I told him that we would be bringing back the "wrong" car that they had given us and that we would not be taking delivery of the van that we had purchased the Wednesday prior. He informed me that we HAD to take delivery of the van and that we didn't have a choice. At that point I asked to speak with the store manager. Brian Ramey, who had not once been in touch with us. Brian called and we spent almost two hours on the phone. He told me that we did not have a choice on the van and that we had to take delivery of it. This doesn't seem like the best tactic for resolving an issue.in the end, my husband and I took delivery of both vehicles only because we didn't want to spend any more time dealing with them. Upon delivery, the Sedona was supposed to have had a DVD player and after market leather installed. It did not have the leather seats when we arrived to pick it up. I ended up having to take it back on Monday, July 3 to have the seats installed. They told me it would be a two day job but with the holiday it wouldn't be ready until Wednesday, July 5. They told me they would provide another van for the time they had mine. When I arrived on Monday morning they gave me a small SUV. I have three kids and there was not room for all three of my kids to sit in the back seat with the car seats. So my 7 year old ended up sitting in the front seat - which is totally unsafe. It also did not have rear air conditioning. It was in the 90's the entire time I had the vehicle and my two kids in the back seat were never comfortable. What was supposed to be a two to three day job ended up taking all week and I did not get my van back until Friday night.

After we took delivery of the van, I noticed on the Lou Fusz website that they have a 110% Price Guarantee. While I was trying to get things resolved with Lou Fusz during the week, I visited other dealerships to see what kind of price they could give me on both cars. One dealership quoted me a much lower price on the Sedona than Lou Fusz had. We emailed a copy of the invoice with the details of the deal to Brian Ramey and inquired about the guarantee. I didn't hear back from him for 5 days and then he told me that it had t be submitted within three days and really that had been a May special. I informed him that we had submitted it within three days and that the special was still running on his website. He then told me that the invoice I submitted was not what he needed, but that he needed a written buyers order.in essence, we would have had to purchase the vehicle from the other dealership. NONE OF THIS WAS SPECIFIED IN THE AD! This seems an awful lot like false advertising. This dealership has been a nightmare to deal with with the exception of Larry Myer, our salesman). I have spoken with Lou Fusz Jr. And had heard nothing back from him either. He did tell me though that it is not their policy to force an unhappy customer to take delivery of a vehicle. As a resolution, we are asking that Lou Fusz honor their advertised special and refund us 110% of the difference between their price and the best negotiated price we found. The difference was $2068.00. The 110% refund should be $2275.00.
