Ripoff! Won't quit calling job, won't quit calling me when my acct. Is current

To all that have filed law suits... I would like to be a part and help in ANY way that I can. Drive has been screwing me from the day I signed the contract at a dealership in Kansas City. I had soooo many problems trying to find anybody to finance me that I was happy to see that somebody was going to help me out.

I signed the papers not really caring what they said. The dealership told me what my interest rate was. It went in one ear and out the other. Though I did hear them. I was so excited to finally get a car I sooo deserved. My credit was bad and now it's WORSE.

The principle on my account was/is $10,888 for a 2004 Dodge Neon with 14,900 miles on it. I bought the car on March 3. It was one of the happiest times of my life until... I became pregnant for the second time. I was hospitalized for 6 weeks prior to the delivery for pre-term labor. When I was in the hospital a man named Chris from the Repo Dpt. Was very understanding and said he and his wife had just had a baby and he knew how hard it was. The reposession was canelled after I sent verification of hospitalization.

I caught the payments up after I got out of the hospital as agreed. Then seven months later I'm behind again. My account "manager" calls me and I try to set up payment arrangemtents. I try to explain to her that I had a baby and was not able to work for a while. However, I did just get a job and I would give them my paychecks until I was caught up.

She preceeded to tell me that She has children too. "You can't tell me that you just had a baby. You have nine months to plan for the birth of a baby. You are just making up excuses to get out of making your car payment. What was the real reason you haven't made you payments on time"? This is some of what she told me.By this time I was IN TEARS! Everbody knows that not every person delivers nine months after becoming pregnant, and complications can arise. Well I had a very high risk pregnancy. My first son was premature, and the son that is referred to in this report was born 2 weeks early, thanks to technology, a 6 week hospitalization, 6 weeks of bedrest, 2 weeks of mind altering drugs to stop labor, and the many doctors and specialists that I saw.

I am currently three months behind which is $904. There is not enough time in my day to call them and sit on hold. I get up in the morning, take my 7 year old step daughter to school, go to work, at 6 P.M. Go to school, and then go home to all three of my sleeping children. My day starts at 6:45A.M., and doesn't get over until 11:00P.M.

My boyfriend and I have been together for 4 years that's why I have a "Step-daughter". We really aren't married yet. Anyway, Drive is not calling my foster parents from 10 years ago trying to "get ahold of me". Meanwhile my credit is worse off now than it was before Drive. They don't report correctly, and promptly. I do now have two credit cards with low limits that are repoting correctly. Which is nice.

They are credit cards for people with bad credit if anybody wants to know... They are First Premier Bank, and Tribute Mastercard. Tribute does have some rip off reports but I ahve no problems with them.
Hopefully not too many more people fall prey to this "Special Finance" company.

Also, for anyone who would like to know... There is a company who actually DOES specialize in refinancing Drive customers because of the high interest rates. That web site is creditprovider.com. Check it out.
