State Farm Insurance
Bullying by State Farm Ripoff Bloomington Illinois

Please help me. I am looking for an honest, morally responsible insurance company. Don't laugh. And don't say State Farm. Please continue to read my tale of woe. I am a 77 year old grandmother who is raising three out of six grandchildren. State Farm has been my insurance company for twenty years or so. I always keep my insurance on every car I own. I bought an oldsmobile convertible for my oldest granddaughter after marriage to a great guy. She left the Oldsmobile with me, and I later brought it to her so she could use it for a trade in. At that time I called my trusted insurance agent to cancel the insurance on that car.in a matter of a few weeks she called and said she used her other car for a trade in so she brought back the Oldsmobile. At that point my grandson needed a car so my 18 year old granddaughter agreed to drive the Oldsmobile for me to Cooper.

Here is where it gets unbelieveable. A pickup truck going at least 85 miles per hour (according to a black policement at the accident) hit the Oldsmobile. My insurance company was the same as his, State Farm. Although the car was only without insurance a month or so my noble and honest insurance agent decided I should pay them for the truck. They would not take me to court as I asked them to. They didn't want a court to hear the facts. They used everything they could think of. I still wanted to go to court.

So now they went after my 18 year old granddaughter. They took away her driver's license, her only means of getting to work. The original deal started out at $17,000, then dropped to $10,000. Now because they have her in a vice they decided they want $21,000 at $150 a month.

She spoke to the driver of the truck. He had no idea of what was going on. They had originally told me it was him that was coming after me and now her. They lied. Surprise surprise. He told us that he had complete insurance, even for an uninsured car, as do I.

So if anyone can help me find an honest insurance company please let me know.
