We bought a brand new 5th wheel camper at a camper show in MO. The company we bought it from is in Ark. And the company that made it is in CA. The first new one we ever bought. Took it camping and it rained had water from one end to the other end. Well that started it. Ark. Has had the trailer 6 times now, and cannot find the leak, they think we are lying. Funny how it leaks in MO. Not in ARK. They told us we could have the warranty work done anywhere, NOT. We have to take it back and forth to ARK. It has traveled over 3000 miles back and forth.
We have asked them to give us one just like ours on their lot, NO. We have talked to owners of the lot, we have talked to service rep. And finally the president of thor in CA. All we are getting is the run around, nothing done, but water damage.
More than us have seen the water leak and standing, one time we took it and picked it up on the weekend took it to the lake where my brother was and it poured. My husband and brother went out to look it was leaking again, called them said to bring it back down, it is now back in ARK. They came up here and picked it up this time, but said they cannot find the leak again, we are not stupid, and we are not liars.
Called them one time when we were getting rain told them to send someone here to see it rain they could not do that. But wanted us to pay a trailer co. To come out and verify that it was leaking, i would not pay for it, so no one came, my mom, our children (we have 6) our neighbors, not sure how many more they want to see it leak.
It has been a year this month that we bought it and still the same, and summer here and we can not go camping. What do we need to do to these people. I am just down right fed up with both companies and would not want anyone to buy anything from them.
We know once in awhile you get a lemon but why can't they make it right, by giving us another one just like ours and call it even, talked to a big shot at the show this year, and he did not really want us there, told us he would make sure it was took care of! Yeah right, here we are 6 months later.
Will contact the better business bureau and the atty generals in all 3 states. Not getting away with this. This is a big ripoff, scam i have ever seen or gone through. The dealer is WHEELS MOTOR & RV OF ARKANSAS, AND THORCALIFORNIA (they made it). President is no longer talking to us, have sent us back to the service reps. Again, and arkansas said it has rained there and no leakes and have moved the camper around. Lol. That is so funny.
