We bought a peice of crap car that nearly killed my my husband and I, paid a 30% interest rate and returned the car volunterily only to have it show up on our credit ten years later as a charge off / like it was repossessed. I dont care if it stays on my credit forever! I will never pay them. We were young and dumb and completely taken advantage of, and worse, we almost died senselessly due to UGLY DUCKLINGS AKA DRIVETIMES unscrupulous, negligent, business practices.
The car was dangerous and should have never been sold to be driven. The dam collection agency the company has recruits straight from HELL, they will not work with you at all and are happy to keep reporting you forever, even against the fair reporting act laws. Unless you actually take them into a physical court room you might as well plan on dying with the shit on your credit.
