Oil Change Ripoff

I went into to get a routine oil change right before closing time. They started the oil change and after about 15 minutes the technician came back to me and said that they had broke my dipstick and to come back the next day and they will fix it. I came back the following day right before my roadtrip to Arkansas, Kentucky and Missouri. The first thing they said was go buy the dipstick at the dealer and comeback. So I drove 15 miles to the nearest Nissan dealership and got the dipstick. Came back and after 2 hours they said the couldn't fix it and to go to the dealership and have them fix it. After paying 85 dollars for the dealer to fix the issue and 21 dollars the dealer to change the oil, I called up Kwik Kar and talked to the manager. He said he wouldn't pay the 85 dollars because it was "Manufacturer Defect", that he didn't break it and that he shouldn't be responsible for it. He then went on to tell me they couldn't afford to pay it out of pocket. I told them that I was thinking of taking legal actions and he said if you want to go that root and waste both of our times go ahead. A friend of mine got hers done at Pennzoil and they did the same thing, but one they fixed it and two they were going to comp her for everything if they couldn't. I have told all my cowokers at the number one employer in New Braunfels that Kwik Kar is unsatifactory and has no customer service. Hopefully this will at least make a dent in their business.
