I picked up a Mazda5 on May 27th about 9:00 PM Memorial Day weekend, I came back 12 hours later and told Eddie Accardi's management that the car did not drive well it over steered and that I was unhappy with car.
I told the General Manager and the salesman that I did not want the money back, I wished to keep my business with Eddie Accardi Motors. I just wanted to go into a different product that Eddie Accardi Motors sold and they told me NO "A DEAL IS A DEAL"
I wrote an eloquently written letter to the dealer and stated that I felt the car to be UNSAFE amongst other things and that I wanted out of this car and into another but they said "NO A DEAL IS A DEAL"
I contacted the Better Business Bureau, Consumer Affairs, The Consumer Protection Agency and The Department of Motor Vehicles but there was nothing that they could do.
I had a friend that used car business and they said make a sign and stand out in front of the car lot and picket the Eddie Accardi Dealerships after 2 days they agreed to let me get another car but the Mazda5 that had only about 100 miles would only be taken back by them as a trade-in and at a wholesale price, you have to hand it to Eddie Accardi Motors they have really perfected the way of how to SCREW The Public.
PS I am still picketing and waiting for them to do something. All I can tell you now is DON'T TRUST THEM AND TRY A DIFFERENT DEALER.
