I purchased 2 Polaris 700 ATV's totalling over $16000 After completeing the finance process my documents were altered before I was given a copy. A $7500 credit card was opened up in my name and maxxed out.
They finance department handwrote in numbers after I signed my documents. They included service contracts and whatever else he needed to reach the $7500 limit of the card. I have now been sent to collections because I absolutley refuse to pay for something I do not want and will never use due to the type of people that I know they are. I have filed a police report and was told it was a civil matter, I have disputed the credit card charge and was told they are denying my dispute, I have contacted the BBB, which is a worthless organization, and they were unable to help.
I have recently contacted a consumer rights lawyer and was told by him the last recourse I have before filing a lawsuit is to contact the Consumer Affairs Division which I am in te process of right now.
If you make the wrong decision in trying to buy from Motorcycle City lookout for this scam as I am not the first one to write about an act similar to this being done by this company. I hope my issue can be resolved if not I hope this helps to inform future customers to be aware.
