I am a single mother. I travel a lot and needed my front brakes done. I heard there was a GREAT deal get all four brake pads and shoes done for 99.88 on the radio.
At 11:00 A. M my son and I decided to get some earrins done and we happened to go to JUST BRAKES. We waited there for 30 mins before one of the brake techs Tyrone took all my tires OFF including the pads, springs, and the back car shoes. My Calipers were hanging off my car. For a tech to take 5 minutes to take apart a car and 9 hours to actully have my car ready is ridiculious. He then took me around my whole car explaining that I needed the pads done because they were 40% to 60%.
Last time I heard that wasn't that bad. He then told me I needed new calipers and shoes for the back of my car. He also told me I needed to replace disc hardware and springs (they weren't at all damaged). I then told him I will be back I have to go get my son lunch so I went home. He told me my car will cost $370.83 for everything.
I came back to JUST BRAKES at 4:00 P. M my car WAS NOT TOUCHED!
I sat and sat and sat then one of the techs did my right side of the car and comes back to me saying " that my caliper is leaking" I said "WHAT how could that be Tyrone and I looked at the whole car" Tyrone told him to take car of it. Then I asked Tyron the tech we looked at the car what happened he said" the tech put the caliper on wrong and broke the seal." So I had to wait another hour goes by and my son and I are still in there lobby waiting for a word on how long this will take.
Tyrone said 30 mins I waited my car still wasn't being worked on another hour goes by. SHOOT by this time my son and I are restless. We were there for 4 hours waiting for my car and no one knew when it was going to be done. I didn't have a car to go anywhere thankfully my friend was off work and could pick us up so I could feed my son dinner. Paul Soto came to me and said I will recieve 15% off for waiting so long. I went with my friend to eat.
At 9:00 P. M I recieved a phone call from JUST BRAKES and they said my car was ready. They were so rude in the lobby saying how Paul Soto was going to quit and how everyone was so nervous. WHY? Everyone left but Soto and another tech. I was reading my bill and they charged me 4 pads and shoes 99.88, calipers 146.00, disc hardware 42.50, return springs 42.50, bleed fill and adjust brake system 39.95,10% OFF NOT 15% OFF, labor 134.37, Parts 199.38 Tax, 21.69.
All this and I just Wanted my Pads DONE. The service here sucks and the over charge everyone! They need to pay eveyone back their money and be shut down there business for RIPPING OFF ALL CUSTOMERS!
I dealt with Tyrone and no one else he didn't put my car back together 2 other guys did and one guy supervised named Paul Soto. He takes all the credit because his names all over my bill.
