When me and my husband purcahsed our 2003 Ford Windstar from coggin Toyota at the avenues sales person was chris Pinard a.K. A Hot dogg they had us believing that our van was in great condition. They provided us with a three month warranty courtesy of coggin. Well ten months later and now we are having car problems.
At the begining of this month our battery died and alternater died shortly after we replaced the battery (the same night). Now two weeks later and our transmissin is gone now please keep in mind that the car is only two years old. Has a total of 69000 miles. We bought it at 45000 miles which means that we only put in about 24000 miles on it since we've owned it. We contacted Coggin and they informed us that our warrenty has expired and that are willing to help us get into a vehicle as long as we trade in our van along with 1500.00. They have got to be kidding me.
How can you sell a car and less than a year later the consumer cannot drive the vehicle to do major transmissin problems and the salesmen and employees at the dealer ships can actully sleep at night??? I don't even want a new car I would like to keep my van I love my van. All I am asking is they help with the repair because it is obvious that something was wrong with that car before we got it. They misinformed us when we made the purchase.
