I sold a car to this guy (Josh Robinson), owner of Platinum Motorcars, on ebay & he did everything to keep from paying the full bid, including threatening to sue me for fraud! Me for fraud?! I made a typo on the auction for the mileage so he says it was odometer fraud.
He has a lawyer working with him to pull this crap off!
I finally got SOME of my money but, was very unhappy.
He then puts the car back on ebay with the mileage stated as 60,000 less than what the title says. I still have all documentation & have a TV station there looking at doing a story about him.
According to the Florida Auto Dealer's Association, the dealer's license of Platinum Motorcars' top people was suspended in the early '90s because of illegal activity. I wonder if it is the same Platinum Motorcars? He says it isn't. Go figure.
