I received a "winning" letter from this dealer. I usually throw them away, but I was intrigued. I called and asked if it was a gimmick. The guy I spoke with said "no we have real winners, if you have matching numbers you need to come in and get your prize". It appears on the info that I've won $5,000. I'm of course am very skeptical.
I've won $1000 "internet shopping spree". I was asked by the ad company rep if I know the home shopping network, I say no even though I'm vagely familar. He says all I do is go to this website www.wsnrewards.com, that's where I can shop. I only have to pay s&h. He says "If you buy diamond earrings, then you only have to pay the s&h and it won't be that much since they are small". Hello where are there any diamond earrings!?!? There are only cz jewelry. The s&h is like $9.95, I could go to walmart and pay that much for the samething and not have to wait the 2-6 weeks that they say. I wrote a whole other report on them, so I won't go into detail, this one is about the dealer.
Anyways I can't believe they'd use something like this. I mean do they expect their future customers to be happy about this?
They also told me a vehicle that I asked about was a suv, when it clearly is a VAN! Sliding doors are used on vans not SUV's! They were trying to tell me what I wanted to hear, I guess! The sales person didn't act like he wanted to sale me anything anyways. The vehicle that they thought would be perfect... They didn't even have! How can they run a sale and not have all of them in stock. This was the first day of the sale, so none of those "they may have sold out" replies!
Then he asked "are you going to make a deal today?", I said "you don't even have a car for me?!" He was like, yea your right. I'll have to look for one first. I mean is he insane or what. What exactly am I supposed to make a "deal" on!?!
I just want to make people aware of what they have done. I know that they are car sharks. Oops I mean dealers, but doesn't mean you have to live up to the stereo-typical view of car dealers.
