In May of this year, It was my first day of vacation and I had my oil changed at Walmart. As soon as I picked it up and got to the 55 mph speed limit, my hood flew up and smashed my windsheild and hood. Luckily, I made it safely to the side of the road. It was obvious that Walmart did not secure my hood, they were the last to open it (I never open the hood, I have no idea about cars).
I contacted Walmart that night and was treated very rudely. The person said that I was to call back the next day when the Tire lube and Express was open. Well the next day I called my insurance company (I really needed to get my car fixed because my Dad was in the hospital and I needed to get to him). They fixed it and said that they would deal with Walmart. I had to pay $1000 deductible. I finally got a hold of this guy from Claims Management Services (must be Walmart's Attorneys) after 3 months of calling everyday. He stated that they would give me nothing. I said I will see you in court then! Which I plan on doing.
