I brought my car in for new brakes. When I picked up my car, I discovered that the driver seat was broken. I spoke to the Joe, the service manager. Joe assured me they would take care of the problem and asked me to get an estimate for repairs. I got an estimate to repair the seat and delivered it to Joe.
Several weeks and numerous phone calls later, I learn that Pep Boys has denied the claim and they assert that they could not have caused the damage. Now my only recourse is to file a small claims case in court. I am furious that they damage my car and refuse to take responsibility. I intend to file a small claims case, even if it means having to take time off work.
