On May 25 I brought my car to Mitch's Econo Lube to get the A/C fixed and an oil change. After leaving the shop and driving a short distance, black smoke was coming out the rear of the car, and the engine seized up.
I had the car towed back to the shop, and Mitch Clousner, the owner, said he could tell what the problem was, but he would turn it over to his insurance company, Auto-Owners Insurance.
The insurance company hired a salvage company to look at my car, and they claim that is was just "coincidence" that I had my oil leak, and my car was old (10 years, 120k miles), and denied the claim.
