I purchased a pair of Powerslot brake rotors through carismafx.com that were warped. I first contacted the manufacturer (Powerslot) when I was instructed to return the parts to the distributor (carismafx.com). After following the guidelines given by carismafx.com's return policy, I returned the two brake rotors requesting a delivery confirmation receipt which I did receive.
Two weeks later I called carismafx.com to inquire about my refund. They initially denied ever receiving the item and asked for proof. I faxed the proof and miraculously, their records suddenly indicated they had received the item. Then they suggested we had never paid for the item in the first place.
Again, I had to provide proof that the item was paid for and, again, their records mysteriously indicated that I did pay for them. The list of various excuses continued to grow over the next 6 weeks including statements such as "your VISA would not let us credit your account", "the zip code was wrong", and "a check is in the mail".
At one point I gave up and just asked for my rotors back. I still have not received my refund, nor have I receive the parts back.in addition, Powerslot revealed to me that they have been having similar complaints by other customers dealing with carismafx.com (otherwise known as driverfx.com).
