Ripoff wouldn't finish work on car after 5 trans. Flush still water in fluid

I went to Precision Tune on 3-5-05 for a recommended transmission flush on my 2000 Ford Escort (41,000 miles). 3 days after the flush i left work and had foamy pink fluid under my car. My ride home that day was sketchy at best.

My car shifted out of 1st gear at about 4,000 rpm! (not good) I called PT the very next morning and was told not to drive it in and that they would send a tech out to take a look at it and get it into the shop. I didn't get the tech. They said i would, i got the office manager!

So Kristen Talbot shows up at my house, checks my fluid and preceeds to fill about a gallon and a half of fluid into my car. We leave for the shop. The mechanic tells me that the leak is coming from the radiator. My engine coolant and transmission fluid had mixed!!!

I'm then told "one of the lines that runs from the trans to the radiator or vice versu had ruptured and that it was a coincidence that i just had the flush"! So i say ok, now what my car is on a lift and won't drive properly. $574.96 later i have a new radiator, a chemical coolant flush and trans fluid not mixed with anything else.

All better you say? NOT EVEN CLOSE! I come back on 3-9-05 for the recommended check of fluids, "All good!" the tech tells me. On my way out of work on 3/22 my car doesn't go when i put it in drive. It finally does and the next day i call to inquire about this.

Kristen informs me that "sometimes that just happens, my car does it too". Well thats fine for her! I check my fluid and low and behold it's milky again. I call back and they say to bring it in, it may have to be flushed again.

I take it in and yep "gotta flush it again". I go pick it up and am told that air sometimes gets into the lines during the flush and it has to be done a couple times in some cases.

Out of courosity, I checked my fluid today 3/31 still milky. I have lost patience at this point so i show there at opening today. I am greeted by Adam the Asst. Manager as I am so rudley told that he will have to wait for Kristen to get there.

I also mentioned to Adam that i had spoked to the Ford Service department and that a flush should only take one time to get it right and to get the water out of my fluid which is making it milky. Ford also suggested that the water may be in the trans pan.

Again he'll have to wait for Kristen. Mind you she is the Office Manager NOT THE MECHANIC!!! I say fine I'll take her on. She shows up about 15-20 min. Later. I say hello and she says I've talked to our corporate office and it has costs us more to flush out your car than the service.

Well excuuuuuuuuuuuuussee meee! How dare she!

I am then told that if the pan needs to be taken off then it would be $59 to do so! Shouldn't that have been done in the first place? She then tells me that she doesn't think that would solve anything anyway and that if ford suggested these things then they could do them.

Gotta love technology, I recorded our conversation on my cell phone. And as long as one party knows of the recording (me) it's legal. Did we not learn anything from Scott Peterson!

Anyway, i left contacted the magistrate in my county small claims division and also put a call out the GA department of the govenors office of consumer affairs.

I'm not letting them get a way with ruining my practically new car its a 2000w/41,000 miles. And its paid for! The limit you can sue for in my county is $15,000 i know i wouldn't get it but hey start big. If anyone has had a similar experince let me know!
