Tuners Alley - Sean Lieb and Boe McAllister, formerly of Custom Inspirations ripoff! Failure to deliver paid goods

Around January 15 of I arranged purchase for a set of Eibach Pro springs, including installation and a vehicle alignment for $300 in a 2003 Toyota, from Tuner's Alley of 1000 SE M Street in Grants Pass, OR - a now defunct auto shop run by two of the former owners of another local shop (Custom Inspirations), Mr. Sean Leib and Mr. Boe McAllister.

After cash payment was received by the business (and by partner Mr. Leib), I was notified that the order for my parts was to be placed that day. I was later notified that the parts were to be in within 2 weeks time, and was given a telephone contact to reach the business and its proprietors (both Sprint PCS cellphones).

After two weeks had passed and inquiring as to the status of my order, including arranging to leave my vehicle at the place of business for an install, I was informed that they attempted installation, but discovered during the process that the wrong product was shipped from the product manufacturer.

However, upon further investigation, my vehicle was not moved from its original position in their lot, nor were the contents of the vehicle which were in the drivers' seat moved so the vehicle could be relocated into the garage area. I was told that the correct parts would be in within another 2 weeks, and to go ahead and call when that time rolled around.

After the 2-week shipping time, I made repeated attempts to make contact with the business via telephone, in person, and via USPS mail without any response.

As of April, I had given up on Mr. Lieb and Mr. McAllister in going through with our business transaction and made a purchase for my vehicle parts elsewhere.

Several times throughout the month of April, I attempted contact both via telephone to Mr. Both Mr. Leib and Mr. McAllister, in person to the business address at 1000 SE M Street in Grants Pass, and in person to the home address of Mr. Leib at 463 SW 8th Street in Grants Pass. I also continued to attempt contact with Mr. Leib at a location on Cottonwood Street in SW Grants Pass, where his parked vehicle was observed regularly.

Prior to the end of April, telephone service on both Mr. Leib's and Mr. McAllister's cellular telephones was discontinued due to an outstanding bill per the cellular carrier (Sprint PCS).

On two occasions while coming across Mr. Leib in his vehicle on city streets and attempting to flag him down, once he made eye contact with myself and my vehicle, he quickly left the area via the nearest turn or side-street.

As of May Mr. Leib's vehicle has not been parked at the Cottonwood Street address.

As of the time of this report filing (March), all collection attempts have failed and the $300 debt paid to Mr. Leib and Mr. McAllister under the DBA "Tuner's Alley" for products and services never delivered is still outstanding.
