To Whom It May Concern:

My name is Rashawn Hall and I am writing in reference to a vehicle that I had purchased from one of your dealerships. I purchased a Saturn SC2 from Value Car Suzuki on 09/17/02 from James Wimbley. When inquiring about the vechile I had stated to James that I would like to have a few things done to the vechile before I would sign the papers and drive it off the lot. I asked to have the vechile detailed along with having the knob replaced on the radio that was missing. James stated that he would have this done within the next day.

I then left the vechile. I returned on 09/18/02 to find that the vechile had not been touched. James Wimbley was off that day so I took the vechile as is. I had the vehicle only 3 days and I started to have troubles starting the vechile and it would jerk when it was in first and second gear.

I then contacted James Wimbley and told him of the problems I was having with the car he had sold me. I then left my car at Value Suzuki for the second time to be serviced. I then returned the next day to find that the vechile had to have the fuel pump replaced. I didn't have my car for not even a week when I noticed black smoke coming from the stereo, which was supposed to have been fixed. So now I bring my vehicle to be looked at by a Mechanic at Bower Automotive. They notified me that the wires on the stereo were loose inside and was rubbing against the other one. He also told me that the vechile could have caught on fire at anytime. I immediately contacted James Wimbley to notify him that I would be bringing the vechile in and informed him of what I had expericened. This, now the third time I had to bring my car in, when all along this could've been prevented if your salesman had been doing his job.

I feel that I have been taken advantage of and I believe Phil Long needs to aid in making the trauma I have had with this car from the very beginning. Your salesman acted unethically and took advantage of me. Now after I had brought the car in for the third time and telling my salesperson everything that has happened with this car and all due to his negligence he still did not offer to help fix the problem.

I tried to take matters into my own hands and requested to speak with the manager, Mike Fitzpatrick. I expressed my concerns and his fix to the problem was a new stereo and reimbursement from what I spent taking it to another mechanic ($30.00). Once again I am put in a situation of not knowing what was going on, in the end he didn't even reimburse the $30.00. So for the fourth time I had to leave my vehicle with Value Car. I asked if Mike could supply me with a rental vehicle while my car was being serviced. He denied my request and I was left with no transportation once again because of Value Car Suzuki's negligence in Service. Now for the fifth time I had my vechile back in your service department because my car wouldn't start.

I planned to take my car to Satun of Motor City this time expecting to be treated with better respect and courtesy, but this did not happen. I made a telephone call to Eddie Sanchez to see if I needed to make and appointment and his response was No we are not busy and can look at your car right away. I had my vechile towed to Saturn at 10:00 am and I was present with the tow driver. I then was shuttled to my place of employment.

My car was at the Saturn Service from 10:00am to 5:30pm without receiving a telephone call on the progress of there diagnostic. During this period, I had contacted Eddie twice to find out the status, which he had nothing to report. Once again, being taken advantage of and I am feed up! I received a telephone call 15 minutes to 6:00pm stating that all that was wrong with my car was it needed a new battery. When I left the vechile with Eddie, he asked if I would like to have, anything else checked, I notified him that, I did not.

When I arrived at the Service shop to pick up my car Eddie escorted me to the back were they had my vechile. The manhanic stated that he saw that I had previous subframe damage on the left side. I told him that I learned of this when I took it in about 1 month ago to have the alignment fixed. I did have the alignment fixed on 01/30/02 by a hired mechanic. My vechile functioning fine until I got it back from Saturn Service. As I got ready to pay for my diagnostic, the mechanic asked Eddie if he wrote down the information that they found and Eddie said no. The Mechanic asked me if he could write it down to cover himself, why did he ask when I didn't even request that type of service?

As I left Saturn Service and drove my vechile on to I-25 I noticed that the alignment that I had just fixed was now back off alignment and was leaning towards the opposite side. Once again, a dissatisfied customer because Phil Long keeps putting me in situations of danger and continues to tag me along on this ride. How much more money are you going to take from me before you do what you should've done before the car was put into my hands.

I brought the matter back to Eddie Sanchez's attention as well as the Manager, Phil Olson but I am learning that Phil Long only cares about the sale of a car, once it's off the lot your salesperson forgets that you exist. I am asking that you consider the above and try to come to a conclusion. Phil Long has taken advantage of me and I feel like I need to do my duty as a citizen and report your actions to KKTV Call for Action. Will there be another women you take advantage of? This needs to be resolved, all I am asking is that Phil Long fix the problems.
