I made an appointment for my (leased) SRX service with Devoe Cadillac.

Upon making the appointment I told Devoe that I needed an oil change, check tires and rotate if need be, my key remote was not working as well as it should, check engine light (comes on and off).

Devoe told me that I would have to leave my (leased) SRX overnight. Devoe told me they would give me a car to rent at no charge because I owned/leased a Cadillac.

I dropped my (leased) SRX off at Devoe Cadillac and a Nancy Matthis, service advisor, took the information on my car. I told Nancy that I had my SRX serviced in my home state for the engine light and they found nothing.

The next day I called to inquire the status of my (leased) SRX. I called 3 times and left messages for Nancy to call me. Nancy called me back after me leaving 3 messages.

Nancy told me the oil was changed, a nail in the tire removed and tires rotated. Nancy told me my (leased) SRX was driven and the engine light did not come on.

Nancy said they wanted to keep it another night and take it for a drive the next day to see if the engine light would come on.

Nancy said they drove it 15-20 miles and the light never came on.

I told Nancy that is alot of miles on a leased car. Nancy said let me make sure of the miles. She came back and told me they drove it 30 MILES.

I told her I DID NOT want my (leased) SRX driven anymore.
I told Nancy I wanted to pick up my car that day.
Nancy said they had to order the remotes and they would not be in until tomorrow. I asked what time. Nancy said either 1pm or 4pm.

Nancy said it would take 30-45 minutes to program the remotes.

I told her I wanted to pick up my car that day and when the remotes came in she could call me and I would bring my car in and WAIT for them to program the remotes.

I was so upset that they drove my LEASED SRX 30 MILES~I drove to Devoe and asked Nancy do the mechanics take the customers cars home. Nancy told me they are not allowed to take any customer cars off the lot unless they have written permission from the owner.

I told Nancy again that 30 MILES on a LEASED car was alot. She made light of it.

Before returning the rental car I filled the tank with the gasoline I had used.

I was still upset. I feel that they abused my car driving it that many miles. I paid the bill and when I got in my (leased) SRX I looked at the mileage and they LIED. They drove my (leased) SRX 35 MILES.

When I got home I noticed on the bill it showed the mileage I dropped it off at and the delivery miles they put 0.

In the bill they put 34 MILES but never told me that.

I emailed the General Manager, Tony Pandjiris, at Devoe Cadillac about the service and 35 MILES put on my (leased) SRX. I have a receipt he read my email but he NEVER emailed me back.

I than emailed GM. More or less they said there was nothing they could do. GM boast about Customer Satisfaction. What a joke.

I emailed JD Power and Associates. They gave the Power Report about GM. They too said there was nothing they could do. I reminded them that they are the ones who send out the questionnaires to customers that have had car service at the dealerships. The questionnaires are for customer satisfaction. Another joke.

I emailed a Mark Tanner at GM (I have no idea what he does). I have a receipt showing he read my email but he too NEVER sent me an email back.

I emailed ConsumersAffair.com.

I even emailed Oprah asking for help. Asking who else could I contact.

My husband pays $1600.00 a year shipping my LEASED SRX to and from FL so to keep the mileage off.

My LEASED SRX was under the mileage when I brought it in to Devoe Cadillac. That doesn't mean I wanted them to take it for a joy ride. Maybe even personal errands. Who knows. Where did they drive it 35 MILES in Naples.

I think it was most UNPROFESSIONAL of Devoe Cadillac to allow their mechanic to take advantage of any customer like that.

I think it was most UNPROFESSIONAL of the General Manager, Tony Pandjiris, to not even respond to my email.

My husband, my parents, friends all thought it was terrible that any car dealership would do that. Would put 35 MILES on a LEASED car.

I can't emphasize enough how terrible and UNPROFESSIONAL I think Devoe Cadillac is.

BEWARE... Don't let them do it to you.
