Didnt show up. 60% drivers don't show up at orientation. There was day I showed up. Big mistake. 08/10. What recruiters said was 50% teh truth. This 50% was about company benefits and eqipment. What was not truth was what we are interesting most: home time and money. Recruiter promised 2 days off, it was 24 guaranteed, but couple weeks neither 10hrs break.
In 22 weeks work for em was 4 when everything was all right. Iceberg was load from NJ 200 mls to MA. Picked up monday. I asked my dispatcher Emily drop ld in East Brunswick, NJ. Kelly, her manager said delivery ld with appointment wednsday. 200mls 2days. There was screwed up appointment, i was waiting until thursday. Finally they let me drop ld Thursday at noon in Shrewsbury, MA. 3.5 days 200 paid miles. I started be straight and as they do i told my dispatcher any mistake what they did. Wrong directions, wrong ld info, wrong appointment... So I was on black list and I was looking for other company.
Finally I had accident, car tried pass me at exit ramp on right side and he lost mirror and scratch side of car. Not my fault, but they fired me, because they qualified as preventable accident... Its just covering maneuver.De facto they fired victim. Yes I was a victim someone else broke my rights. Show me other country where law allows to do that. Except fascist and comunists. Thats what they are. They screw up american trucking (corporations) using comunists regulation in 60ties.
