Where do I start with these people. This entire dilemma is a 20 page nightmare. There is not enough room, so I'm only adding the highlights. You may want to know why we used this company more than once, but I have a HUSBAND. Lucky Tire prices are much cheaper, although, you get what you pay for ya know! We always got tracking numbers and always had problems tracking orders. I don't know anything about tracking procedures so I won't talk on this.
FIRST TIME: My husband order a set of 22' rims for his brother. $2919.00 was the price. Ordered them, Nov. 9, received Dec. 14. They said we would receive them within 7 working days, but instead it was after a month before we received them. They claim they were shipped which was nothing more than a lie. They treated us a little less than fair, but when you're dealing with lucky tire, you're blessed to be treated a little less than fair, Trust Me
SECOND TIME: This time was the worst... My husband ordered another set of rims; 17' for his nephew. $1200.00. When we ordered the rims they were not in, we weren't informed, but they held our money. We called and called, we were treated the worst. Sometime when we called this guy, he pretended he was someone else.
Then, when calling him, you'd have to talk faster than a speeding bullet because he's going to place you on hold; and sorry, you'll be there til' the sun set.
I'm not for sure, but I think they have caller ID, because at times, we called, the phone would ring and ring. We have another line in our house and two cell phone;, they answered them each time. He didn't think it was us because I was remaining on hold from the first call. I can bet we had every line lucky tire had tied up, but we didn't get any help.
Around this time, we'd gotten upset because we thought we were completely ripped off. I was calling each and everyday, wanting to threaten him but knew it was wrong. I explained to the man I was calling from long, long, long distance and can't hold on an extended period of time, he must have been doing other things, cause he seems to have not heard a word I said about the long distance.
After 6 or 7 calls that I made to them that day, I finally told him that I was going to get a lawyer and sue them, he said fine, do what you have to do. He hung up the phone on me, then I emailed the company, didn't know that the email would go directly to him, I explained the problems.
Later that day, my husband called them, and LT or (Lucky Tire) told him the rims were not available and gave him to choose another set. After my husband choice another set, after a week or so, I received the rims; NO CENTER CAPS.
We had to go back through this whole paragraph to get the center caps to go with the rims. The rims and caps were the same process. After a couple of weeks of depression my nephew went through by having rims with no caps, maybe two or three weeks later, we received the caps.
THIRD TIME: are we sick, or what for saying third time? Once again, I have a husband; he'd trade in his good health just to get a good deal!!!
We order another set of 22' rims. He said we didn't need adapters to go behind them but we did. So, the rims does not look good on the truck. They are not sticking out far enough, they are sitting under the truck. Not a clean ride at all!!!
FORTH TIME: Dec. 14,04, this order was made. We had to reorder some tires for the first set of rims we purchased. All 4 tires were said to be sent out, but UPS has only seen 3 of them.
UPS seems to be thinking it's a lie, but they didn't say it in so many words. They could only show us the slip in which LT was stating there were 4 tires shipped.
UPS was trying to give us a little relief by saying that the other tire could be in another state on another truck, and because it was close to Christmas, it good be snowed in somewhere. UPS has been to our house 3 or 4 times, with the 3 tires, but my husband has always rejected the tires because he doesn't know what the consequences will be dealing with LT. He may never receive the other tire, because the slip does has 4 tires shipped. I know it takes a lot for some people to learn, and we could definitely be referred to as some people but trust me, we are finish with them. What I've learned, you pay less, less is what you get. Today is Wednesday December 29, we haven't received this order yet.
Thanks,
Rebecca
