Brake Depot will scam you out of your money. They will tell you that there's more wrong with your brakes then there really is.
I took my Nissan Frontier to Brake Depot to have my brakes looked at. I had to leave it there for the day because I had top work and I couldn't wait on them. They called me that afternoon to tell me that my rotors were bad, brkaes were bad, power steering pump and seals were bad.
The bad news, they tell me it's going to cost $800. After I tell them forget it, they dropped the price down to $600. I told them ok, do the work. I then get a call from my mom's husband who tells me not to let these guys touch my truck because they were known for scamming people out of there hard earned money for unecessary work. I called brake depot back and told them to forget it, I would be in to pick up my truck on my lunch break. The guy tells me it's too late that they have already begun working on it and that everything was a part.
Only 20 minutes had went by since I told them to work on it so I was suspicious of this claim. I called my mom's husband back and told him the news. He said he would go by brake depot because he worked less than five minutes away from them.
He called me back to tell me that my truck was still sitting in the parking lot and brake depot hadn't even touched it yet.
BUSTED! After ripping brake depot a new one for trying to scam me, I went and picked up my truck. I took it to "All-Tune" and after looking at it, they told me the only thing wrong was I needed new brake pads! They did the job for less than $100.
Brake depot = scam! Beware and stay away!
