I had bought a deal through LivingSocial for Let's Be Frank Moving and Storage. It was a 2hr deal for two men and a truck for $99. I had scheduled an appointment on a Sunday at 3-5pm. I called Sunday morning to cancel the appointment because I didn't have anyone that could drive me to the end destination. Danny (one of the two guys) kept trying to figure a way for us to still do the move and really wouldn't let me reschedule.
One of my friends volunteered to drive me. When it came around my appointment time Frank (two of the two guys) called letting me know they'll be late but will definitely do the move today, also that Danny and him are personally doing the LivingSocial deals.
I had told them to give me a heads up when they're close by and they called me at 9pm saying they're in front of my door.
We did the move and did it before the 2hr mark. Frank comes and tells me there's $120 extra charge because my voucher for LivingSocial had ended at 10pm and I need to pay for another hour for their gas and tolls. I told him I don't mind the gas and tolls since its in the fine print but our schedule was 3-5pm and it falls on him that they arrived late.
Basically I got charged and LivingSocial said its out of their policy to help me.
