Tire Choice Store Manager-Steve Adams-On 1/2 at 5:10 I entered the store for a oil change. No one was at the register. I waited about 10 min or so for Store Manger, Steve Adams to enter the room. I showed him my coupon for $9.99 I received from my charge account statement. He asked me if I was going to use my credit card. I said, Yes if you want me to I can". He said, Well you don't have to but your suppose to." He proceeded to check my account on the computer and then asked me where I got my tires for my car. I told him it wasn't from him but from somewhere else. Then joking I said to him, "Oh because I didn't get my tires from you I can't get a oil change? He stated, that I never did any of the recommendations that were suggested on my car. Because I never did those recommendations, he would have to schedule me an appointment for tomorrow for my oil change. Meanwhile, he looks in the window of the shop to see how busy they were, no cars in the shop, I am the only customer in the store. They were not busy. Now while this is all going on, there are 3 man standing behind me waiting for his attention. He tells me in front of the 3 men customers that he will not be able to give me my oil change because I did not do any of the recommendations to my car. Being a single female just completing chemo therapy and radiation from cancer, I found this to be very belittling and rude to be talked to as a customer in front of the male customers.
I told Mr. Steve Adams, that I though this would be a great conversion for corporate to hear about. Told the other men standing there waiting to make sure they heard what he just said to me. I proceeded to ask Mr. Steve Adams, for his
business card. He gave it to me and acted like he could care less about what he just said to me and how I was treated as a customer. He was not at all impressed that I was contacting corporate about this embarrassing and rude
encounter. I am recommending right now to corporate that this individual be exempt from his Management position, and lay off the booze. As I was quite obvious he was hung over and miserable. He really needs to be moved out of the store
and removed from the company. He does not deserve a management position. How he ever reached this level is beyond me. Action needs to be taken immediately. He is treating the female customer's with disrespect and for me this is not
something I am tolerating. I am a cancer survivor and I might not have to much longer to live. I refuse to put up with this type of behavior. I deserve much better after all I have been through. My hair fell out from the chemo treatments I
received, and I do not deserve this from Mr. Steve Adams. You just never know what people have been through in their life. He really needs to think twice before treating people like I was treated. If you do not believe me about my
cancer, I will meet you personally and show you my head. Again, Mr. Steve Adams, needs to get out, its time. I am cancelling my credit card, and will never do service with Tire Choice again. Done. Ship him out.
