Warning sunshine auto warning
Follow my advice based on my personal experience with Borhan Bizri the owner of Sunshine Auto located at 16021 Industrial Dr Bay. Ste 4. Gaithersburg, MD 20877
1-When you see a car and want to buy it at Sunshine Auto only give deposit if Borhan the owner of Sunshine Auto will promise to give you the Yellow Copy of the Inspection Certificate at the time of delivery of the car otherwise get ready for major repairs after the delivery. Because when I bought the car he gave an excuse that the Inspection Certificate has been sent to MVA for processing. When I spoke with MVA and MD State Police they informed it should have been given to me with the delivery of the car.
2- The very day I got the car I had so many problems with it that I was shocked how the Inspection Passed. So when I contacted MD State Police. MVA and Montgomery County Consumer Affairs they all wanted the Inspection Certificate Number which I had none. I ended up spending close to $ 2000 plus wasted so many days going to various garages and
disputing. It turned out to be a nightmare.
3- I filed a complaint with MVA which takes 7-10 days to send the investigator to get copy of the Inspection Certificate from Borhan the owner of Sunshine Auto. And by that time I got the copy of the Inspection Certificate; I had already made repairs or I couldn't drive the car. As Sunshine Auto holds the Inspection Certificate and you are forced to make repairs to drive the car. MD state police will do inspection if no repairs has done. Borhan knows that and he used that trick when he sold the car to me.
4- Therefore my advice do not sign ASIS form. Repeat do not sign ASIS form. Ask Borhan the owner of Sunshine Auto to either let you do PPI (Pre Purchase Inspection) or give you at least 10 days warranty otherwise you will end up spending lot of money to make the car drive safely.
5- If any problems immediately call MD State Police at 410-768-7388 and MVA Special Division at: 410-768-7541 and Montgomery County Consumer Affairs (Sharon Margolis at: 240-777-696.) Immediately. But you would need the copy of Inspection Certificate before they will talk to you.
