On 8/17, at approximately 3:30 PM, my wife and I went to Applebee's for dinner. We ordered decalf coffee and two dinners. The waitress brought us our coffee and it smelled strong and old. I tasted it and told the waitress that the coffee was old and I asked her if we could have a fresh pot. The waitress said that they just made it a couple of hours ago but I can bring you some water and you can dilute the coffee to make it weaker. I told the waitress I don't think so, just forget it and bring us water instead. When our dinner arrived, my wife's vegetables were so over cooked that they were mushy and we're sittin in water. Shortly thereafter, the waitress returned with two more coffee's and she said they were freshly made. I tasted the coffee and it was just as strong and as old as the first cups of coffee. I told her that and she just stared at me. Upon completing dinner, the waitress brought us our ticket and I gave her our Visa/Debit card. A few minutes later she returned and told me that she accidently charged someone else's meal for $44.21 to my Visa card in error and she thinks she applied the credit refund OK. I told the waitress to bring me a copy of that transaction should I have to dispute the transaction with Applebee's, San Luis Obispo, CA. Over the last few months this stores food and service is the worst I have ever seen. This will be our last visit at this Applebee's location.
