My mother and sister hosted my wedding shower at the Victorian Room yesterday, and we thought it was absolutely fabulous! Myself and my family are in the food and catering business. We know very well that you can not make everyone happy and, being human, mistakes can happen. Only bad reviews make it to the internet so I would love to give this venue a break and give them some well deserved praise. The wait staff were friendly and attentive, the food was AMAZING and abundant, the red velvet cake moist and delicious! The maitre d' was always near by and kept a watchful
Eye on the party through out the day. At the end of the party, ALL the left over food was neatly wrapped for us to take home. (as I am leaving this review, I am enjoying some of the pineapple chicken and roasted potatoes - YUM!) When my mother and sister went to pick the menu, the manager was very helpful and gave her honest opinions on the food. It was a very nice experience and I look forward to visiting Milk & Sugar the next time I am in the area!
