I have been going to Seacrets for years. On my boat by car or by bike. I went last night 4/7 to get something to eat around 7:45 or 8pm (Easter eve) for dinner. My brother and I rode our bikes there form our place 60 blocks away. THE PLACE WAS A GHOST TOWN!!! However, my shirt had a Philadelphia Flyers emblem on the right hand corner. We
were turned away and our team was made fun of. We instead went to Dead Freddie's for crab cakes and shrimp. This place was packed and there was a wait to get a table of 15 minutes. It was like the perfect vacation dinner. The rum runners we had were far stronger than Seacrets.
The food was amazing and not stale or burned like secrets crab cakes had been in the previous weeks we had gone. That's fine if you have a dress code. You lost $120 bucks cause of the fat guy with facial hair that was checking ID's and "selectively enforcing" your dress code in an attempt to exercise what little power this man has in life... He was just an a*s. I won't be back just because of this. I have better things to do on my weekend trips to O.C. Than deal with a
former hall monitor or off duty loser cop playing god over paying customers. What I find funny is that we discovered far better food with a similar menu up the street with far nicer staff. I am too old to deal with children like this door person. I will not return. I have read many online posts and it appears that employees or the owner of Seacrets write rebuttals to negative experiences at their establishment. If the owner is reading this he should know that his door guy last night cost
him far more than just my business. I used to come here every weekend winter and summer for one good Saturday meal and drinks with between 4 -10 people. After this experience I have found better food and better people to conduct business with. You have lost out. I have emailed 3 other families detailing our wonderful experience at Dead Freddie's. I
think your boat is taking on water Mr. Owner. Not the first complaint I have heard about your staff just straight acting like a*holes to customers. If I ran my business like you allow your staff to run yours, I would be eating Mc'Donalds on my weekends at the shore instead of Crab Cakes.
