I havent been to Burger King in a couple of years or so until today. Even when I use to go and order the BK broiler. The employee would look at me as If I was the one not knowing what I was ordering.
Today I order 5 BK Big Fish. Which normally that's how I know that is called. TO MY SURPRISED!!! It's in a different bun. A hamburger size bun... No sesame seeds. And very awful tasting upon taking a bite, it gives a bitter taste after being swallowed. THEN I was told it's ciabbatta bread. NASSSTTYYY!!! The bread was just heated up. Not even toasted! And I know for this perticular bread it's more for certain sandwich that will require grilling the bread with the food!
I was sad to see how horrible the sandwiches taste now as to when it had the big delicious sesame bun bread. I'm not sure if the Whopper bun also changed but I will not be back to Burger King to order one.
To Burger King. You need to leave your signature sandwiches the way they are. People like them. Just because you change the bread because someone in coorporate decided the bread tasted good. Well it tasted good to you but i'm sure not to your consumers.
Now I understand why Burger King does not have a lot of people in the restaurants nor in drive thrus as it did years ago. And I leave in a big beautiful city of San Diego.
Well... Fish sandwich is going straight to the trash. And hello cereal. So much for dinner on friday night!
