Being a huge Blizzard fan, I often frequent one of two local Dairy Queen stores for my favorite treat. They proudly claim a Blizzard can be turned upside down with no spillage. Well the odds of that being true are about one in three. I've complained repeatedly about the past 10 years and always am told that my complaint will be forwarded to the store I frequented. I've also gotten gift cards in the mail, or free Blizzards from the store I complained about. While I appreciate their effort to make things right, I'd much rather not have to complain and just get a proper Blizzard. I've gotten to be a stickler about excepting a less than perfect Blizzard and send them back, asking it be made again. I'm always met with the employee waiting on me acting like I'm being far too picky. I hear excuses such as, "Well the fruit Blizzards tend to be runny." Or my all time favorite excuse, "One of our ice cream machines isn't functioning properly." If they knew this, why did they use that particular machine? I suspect it required a few more steps to reach a well working machine.
It's just exasperating! And clearly an on-going issue!
