I went to Dunkin Donuts (STORE# 307866) located in Downtown Albany, NY. I had bought a MEDIUM coffee a few days ago and I took the Telldunkin survey, as indicated at the bottom of the receipt, and was at the store to get a free donut (since the receipt says HEY AMERICA want a free donut...) The MANAGER on duty (on 08/18/10) at that dunkin was not ready to listen that I would get a free donut as mentioned on the receipt. She was rude and started literally yelling at me infront of so many customers as well as patrons... All for a 99 cents donut! She wasn't ready to honor the claim so proudly displayed by Dunkin Donuts on their own receipts.
What a surprise beacuse I have taken free donuts several times in the past including AT THE SAME location.
Dunkin donuts: Message for you: Either do not have false adverstisements on your receipts OR train your managers atleast what that advertisement means. So that they can honor it.
I used to goto DD almost everyday... But they have LOST ME FOREVER!
This manager claimed that she has been the manager since 1990. I hope someone will act on this complaint.
