I am a college student paying his own way thru school. Due to circumstances, i needed a part time job to help pay my way and save my mothers home from forclosure. I applied at dominos pizza and pizza hut in rogers, arkansas. Both companies responded the next day, unfortunately, i chose to go to work for pizza hut, the franchise owned by npc international.
The location i worked is at 814 cypress street in rogers, ar and their phone number is 479 631 2316. The piece of crap that fired me is eric slocum.
I worked there for a little less than two months. I bought 5 new pair of black slacks— i didnt need them, but its company policy, a new pair of black shoes thru the company for 50 bucks— once again, didnt need them, but policy. I also bought a gps for my car so i could more efficiently deliver their pizza.
Two weeks ago, i went to the back to get something the maketable needed, and found the manager, eric slocum, making out and feeling up one of the employees, cynthia. This piece of crap eric is married. Cynthia is his wife's best friend. What a guy!!! I did not say anything, but they did see me.
Another issue is with their trash talking of disabled people. One of the drivers came in complaining about a slow "retarded" guy he delivered to. I told him that maybe the guy has developmental issues, and maybe next time just talk a little slower, etc. Everyone looked at me like i was crazy. I dont appreciate their discrimination against people with disabilities.
I wont even begin to mention the cleanliness issues the place has. It is not sanitary. And i have seen them serve expired food. Thats another story.
Eric also likes to talk about the area manager, cimarra holker, and her horny behavior. I have only worked with her once, but according to him, her husband is terminally ill and unable to perform sexually, so she hits on all the male employees and will sleep with anything that walks. These are his words. He also likes to call her a bitch several times a day. I have tried to get in touch with her, but nobody at this company seems to return any phone calls.
It really bugs me that every day i worked there, i busted my ass every minute i was on the clock. I never stood around doing nothing. I never had any late deliveries or any sign of trouble.in fact, i was told i was doing quite well. Until yesterday, when i pulled up to work and he met me at my car. He told me i had several hr complaints against me, and he had to let me go. This did not bother him, he was smiling, etc. And of course, the position i turned down with the other company has been filled. THANKS A LOT! A good guy gets the short end of the stick again. I have never been fired in my life. Now this. Karma is a real thing, there is no telling how many other people this has happened to. But karma will get these worthless slobs in the end.
