I received a mailer full of BK coupons. As I looked at the booklet, every sandwich pictured has sesame seeds on them. This reminded me why I stopped eating at BK in the first place.
Over 2 million Americans have diverticulitis, and over half of all Americans over age 60 have it. Those of us with this affliction cannot have seeds of any kind (and that includes pickles). It's easy enough to say "hold the pickles" when we order (Have it Your Way)... But I used to get dirty looks when I asked for a seedless bun.
From a marketing standpoint, the sandwiches do look good, but from a health standpoint I cannot eat at BK (unless I want a trip to the hospital).
