BK restaurant in Weymouth MA charges $2.59 for a double hamburger, yet only charges $1.00 for a single hamburger. The restaurant spends more money making 2 single hamburgers than they would making a double hamburger (savings on bun, condiments, paper wrap). Why does BK or this restaurant, gouge customers who want a double hamburger. Should we just by 2 singles and throw out the extra bun??
