I noticed a fraudulent charge of $79.00 on my account from PublicationsMax, and I called my bank. They asked me to call the company connected to this charge, which I did. On the same evening I received a package from Cafe Saporito containing a bag of coffee and a travel mug, which I never ordered. This story sounds the same as all the others in this list.
Why hasn't someone shut down these companies that make criminal, fraudulent charges? The clerk at Cafe Saporito would not take my claim but gave me another customer service number to call. I spoke to the second customer service agent who got mad and said her company "redisetgo.com" had nothing to do with the fraudulent charges and that I should speak to my bank, which I had already done.
I canceled my card, and my bank said the charges will be credited to my account. And now I have the annoyance of calling all of the companies where I use that card for monthly charges to change the card number.
Please somebody do something about Cafe Saporito, PublicationsMax, Redisetgo.com, Seattle Coffe Direct. Why are they still in business?
