Vallarta's Mexican Grill Restaurant Tip's themselves on the Bill, whether you like it or not?

Ladies and Gentlemen,

If you ever decide to go on vacation to Orlando, Florida, please be careful with Vallarta's Mexican Grill Restaurant.in May of I decided to take my family to Disney World. I budgeted my money for this trip as I always do, and I was keeping an eye on my spending to make sure I didn't over spend. Well, I decided to let loose one day, and take the family to one of the local Mexican Restaurants. I found Vallarta's Mexican Grill on 12167 S. Apopka Vineland Road, and decided to give them a try. BAD CALL! As soon as I walked in this place it appeared to be fancy, but unoccupied. Not very many people, even though it was huge and nice. Well, little did I know that these greety people like to take the freedom to include a nice tip on their bill.

First of all, their Carne Asada plate wasn't very tasteful. Not like a typical nicely prepared Mexican carne asada plate that one would usually get in most places. The Carne Asada plate was close to twenty dollars, and it was not worth it. It seemed that they had just pulled a slice of meat out of a meat pack and threw it on the grill with no sort of seasoning. It was horrible. Especially for the price.

There was five us there, and we were all hungry and exhausted from Blizzard Beach water park. My wife was the only that ordered the nearly twenty dollar carne asada plate, and everyone else pretty much ordered the nine dollar carne asada torta's to keep the bill low and affordable. I wouldn't say we were cheap, we just wanted to make sure that we would leave enough money to keep the trip rolling.

Well, Vallarta's Mexican Restaurant gave us a $90 dollar bill that included a rounded sum of a $14 dollar tip. I've never been to a restaurant that took the freedom to tip themselves. As if saying "you need to be paying us a $14 dollar tip for our service." How did they figure that I like their food? Or even their service? The service was average, but the food was below average, and it did not deserve a $14 dollar tip. I was planning on giving them less than 15% on the tip, because I didn't like it. I mean why are these guys forcing me to pay a tip? Why? It's not being fair to the customers, because they are not giving people a chance to give a tip based on their judgement. I wonder how long these guys have been in business, because they're acting like their fresh on the market.

Anyway, hopefully, the majority of you guys out there feel the same way that I do, because I just do not think it's fair. I'm planning on sending a letter to the restaurant to let them know that they just need to learn to take their tips based on the people's judgment of their service. Hopefully, they'll make some changes.
