We ordered pizza from Nancy's and used a coupon. We have a receipt reflecting the correct price of $28.42. A week later I noticed my credit card statement said $36.55. I called the manager and told him I had the receipt and questioned why I was charged differently. He offerred store credit. I told him I did not want credit and didn't trust the restaurant any longer.
I've seen before where some people at restaurants will add on a tip after you leave and you never know unless you notice your credit card bill. The manager freaked out at me and was completely rude. He was upset that I insinuated someone working for him might have done something shady like that. He said he didn't want to see my receipt and to just come in and get my 8 bucks.
My husband went in and the manager was telling everyone like it was a big ha ha story that they ripped us off. The facts were the facts though. We have the receipt showing That we paid $28.42. They charged our credit card more yet acted like we were the villans. Obviously we are never going there again.
