The Pepperidge Farm's 33.5 oz carton is impossible to open. It looks so simple, like an old fashioned container of milk. It has a spout that forms when you open it and it allows you to pour out the crackers. The PROBLEM is that the spout is glued shut too well so that to open the container you need a knife or scissors to pry your way in. Naturally you end up opening the carton but it doesn't re-seal, thus you run the risk of stale crackers. Surely someone in Marketing could find a better way to seal the package. All this package encourages you to do is buy smaller ones - a plus for Pepperidge Farm but not necessarily what the consumer wants
