I worked at nothing but noodles for about 2 months until i wuit just the other day. I was completely fed up with the way the buisness was run. The first week i noticed that all of the hispanic workers (except 1) are paid in cash every pay day. The second problem i had was the way tips were distributed. At most restaurants tips are split up evenly between the waiters and food runners. The way the manager does it at nothing but noodles i consider robbery. All of the tips go into a jar. And she splits them up by giving the waiters and runners. 75 an hour.
So put it this way.in one full day we get $100 in tips (example). Theres 4 workers and the store is open 9 hours. The right way to split up the tips is each waiter/runner gets 25 dollars. But under the managers policy each gets 6.75. Between the 4 workers (who have earned the tips not her, people leave waiters tips as a gesture of kindness saying thank you for the good service here is something for yourself to compensate for your poor salary) we get 27 dollars in tips for a day. Which means the manager pockets 73 dollars of our money. I dont understand how this is going on. Someone please let me know who to contact to straighten this out. It is absolutely unfair to the current employees and they are cheating by hiring illegals and paying them with tip money that us waiters have earned.
